Professor Timothy Jackson is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Retinal Surgeon based in London.

He offers private consultations and surgery at The London Clinic in Harley Street, and the Guthrie Clinic at King’s College Hospital. His NHS practice is based at King’s College Hospital London.

Following a medical degree in New Zealand, Tim undertook his ophthalmology training in the UK at St Thomas’ and Moorfields Eye Hospitals. He was appointed as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at King’s College Hospital, London in 2006 and won a national award to assume the post of University Senior Lecturer at King’s College London in 2011. He was promoted to Professor in 2018.

Tim works as an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at King’s College Hospital, a large teaching hospital in South London. He undertakes cataract surgery and has a sub-specialty interest in macular and retinal disease and vitreoretinal surgery.

He is a Professor in Retinal Research at King’s College London, part of the King’s Health Partners, the UK’s largest Academic Health Science Centre.
